Kaitlynn Martins is a real estate professional, entrepreneur and business leader based in Ontario. Her approach to real estate has been shaped by something broader than buying and selling homes — years spent around business, property, operations and entrepreneurship.
For Kaitlynn, real estate isn't simply about closing a transaction. It's about understanding what someone is trying to build next — a first home, an investment, a growing family's next chapter or the sale of an important asset.
The long way round
I've always been interested in building things.
Business showed up early. Kaitlynn grew up around her father's office — invoices, phone calls, decisions being made in real time — and found the whole thing far more interesting than most kids would.
At around thirteen she started a small business of her own. It was modest, but it taught the parts that matter: how to talk to people, how to price something honestly, how to finish what you start.
For a while the plan was teaching. That instinct never really left — explaining things clearly, patiently, until someone genuinely understands their options is still the part of the job she likes most. But the pull toward leadership, entrepreneurship and property kept getting stronger.
So she built businesses instead. And the further she got into operations, property and negotiation, the more obvious the next step became: real estate was where all of it lived at once.
