Cambridge is a full-service city with a downtown core, established neighbourhoods and newer subdivisions on the edges. Central neighbourhoods are generally walkable to shops, transit and services; outer suburbs lean on the car.
Cambridge is a city in the Regional Municipality of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, located at the confluence of the Grand and Speed rivers, in the central part of the Ontario Peninsula. The city had a population of 138,479 as of the 2021 census. Along with Kitchener and Waterloo, Cambridge is one of the three core cities of the Regional Municipality of Waterloo. Cambridge was formed in 1973 by the amalgamation of Galt, Preston, Hespeler, and the settlement of Blair in North Dumfries, as well as east and west Galt. (Source: Wikipedia)
