Waterdown is a community in the city of Hamilton in the Canadian province of Ontario. Waterdown is approximately 60 km west of downtown Toronto and, as of 2021, has a population of approximately 24,400 residents. On January 1, 2001, the new city of Hamilton was formed from the amalgamation of six municipalities, Hamilton, Ancaster, Dundas, Flamborough, Glanbrook, and Stoney Creek. Before the amalgamation, the old city of Hamilton had 331,121 Hamiltonians divided into 100 neighbourhoods. (Source: Wikipedia)
